Conceived with fried eggs and born in 2001, THE GRAND SPAMP was an op-amp based design that evolved over time into the JFET design of its offspring. An unloved child, THE GRAND SPAMP spent most of his existence in the dark recesses of a forgotten drawer. Now he is enjoying a happy retirement in pride of place on the best shelf in the house.
